Testimonies of the Week

A week ago i sat in on a class that the IMS students had and the speaker E. Daniel spoke on-How to hear the voice of God. We then applied what we learned and waited on God to speak to us. It was amazing to tune into the flowing thoughts and hearing from God and just being in His Presence open to receive whatever.

One testimony i have is; one night i prayed to Jesus that He would wake me up the next morning and get me out of bed to spend time in His Presence. The next morning i woke up before my alarm went off and God used diarrhea to get me out of bed. God has humor and i was reminded that God can answer your prayer however He wants.

I really like the vision that CFC has for this 2009 year: 1-Reach up with expectation, 2-Reach in with transformation, 3-Reach out with multiplication. I really like this and have this be mine personally for this next year.

Another testimony i have is when E. Daniel was speaking he shared a story about having a Word from God and sharing it with people. The question he ask people is to pick the first number that comes to your mind between 1 and 150? Before you do this pray to God that he will put that number in them and then tell them there are 150 Psalms in the bible and the number you got is from God. Before he told us what the number meant-i asked God what does the number mean? And he told me that there are 150 Psalms in the bible and right after that thought came to me, E. Daniel said the same thing. Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers.

Then one day i asked Blessan to talk with him sometime. So we ended up talking for over an hour. I asked him how did you know you wanted to work with youth and to get married. So he told me his testimony and i learned so much about him and how God worked in his life. One of the biggest things i see is that he is accepting of all people and not condemning them. He takes the time to talk with them one on one, to get to know them and pray for them. He wants to put himself in their shoes and understand the world through their eyes.

One day this week we went to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. This was my second time so it was okay. I would definitely say your first time is best. We had a three hour ride from the PTL center to Agra, which gave time to sleep and rest while driving. Both of these places are so big and it was nice to hear the history of the places. We finished off this day with us three guys celebrating our host mom's birthday buy giving her a cake. This was the first time this ever happened she told us.

We ended the week with spending the night with a couple we met here (Kristina & Istvan), they are from Lithuania and California also helping PTL. It was nice to spend time with them and talking English, eat American food and playing card games.

Praises:
Us guys celebrating our host mom's birthday and it was the first time in her life that someone did this.

Requests:
Colossians 4:2-6 for our team.

With love,

Kush
