Shine like the stars

How awesome is the country life compared to the city life. The sounds of *Honk, Honk* have turned to a gentle breeze from the few motorbikes that go by. Well that is what the guys are experiencing here in Mainyia. The girls hear the sounds of lthe city with a less frequent *Honk, Honk* in Sanpura Nagar. Still out in the country you can breath non polluted air and look up and see the beautiful stars that God has placed in the sky. Each one of them unique just as God has created everyone of us, his children.

Spending time out here in Mainyia and Sanpura Nagar have been a time of exposing us to the other side of India. It is the first full week that we have been away from Sahibabad. Austin, Kush, and Shane have passed the time with Biju and his family in Mainyia. During the week we go to Kuttar to teach in the other PTL School near us. The reason for this is that the school in Mainyia is having exams so we are unable to teach. In the classes we sing songs, play games during their free periods, and attempt to teach during class time. (I emphasize on trying to teach!) In the evenings after school we play cricket. We have caught on quickly and are doing well at it. One evening as we were playing cricket, a farmer was going along side the road. Suddenly the bulls jerked to the right and the wagon went down a 3 ft bank. All of us playing cricket rushed over to them to help. It was by God's grace that everyone was okay. The wagon and a motor (weighing 1000 – 1500 lbs) had been lifted up out of the field. Having Northern, Southern, Eastern Indians, and Americans. Hindu, Sikh, and Christians working together for the same purpose to help in anyway possible. Praise God!

In Sanpura Nagar, Jess and Natasha are working in that school there. In class they do about the same as the guys. They teach, sing songs, and play games. On Friday they were able to go to a near by school. It was there school along with 5 other schools in the area performing skits. The Sanpura Nagar school presented the Prodigal Son skit. It was very enjoyable for them. Afterwards, Jess and Natasha were interviewed by a local news channel. I am not sure on specifics of the interview. The main thing was that they were Americans.

All of us are involved with the evenings consist of a devotional time and prayer time with the staff from the school. Thanks to the Lord for the experiences and the way the Father works in us and through us.
